Today, we're going to talk about interest rates and what we expect to see them do in 2015.
Most analysts predict interest rates to rise at some point next year. Fannie
Mae, Freddie Mac, and the National Association of Realtors expect the
economy to remain strong, as more people are expected to be employed and
have more income to buy homes.
If interest
rates rise to around 5%, or a little higher, it will decrease the
appreciation in 2015 from 5% to around 2.5%. However, we'll still have
strong sales, as more homes will be in the market.
